When you sign onto Facebook, what do you see?
Chances are that your newsfeed is covered in videos shared by your peers. And for good reason, videos are easy to digest, get across a message faster than articles, and can be pure entertainment in a text-heavy world.
With being able to upload directly to Facebook and Instagram, videos are only growing in popularity and your brand needs a social media video presence.
For our clients, we’ve created multiple social media videos following the golden rules:
- Keep it short (30 to 60 seconds)
- No voiceovers without captions (many social media users watch videos without sound)
- Add a call-to-action at the end (what do you want the user to do?)
Here’s some case studies of the work we’ve performed:
Case Study: Fintech Company
For our Fintech client, we created some informative, short videos that broke down complex concepts for the viewer in a series called, “Myths of Real Estate Investing Revealed.” We also reused some of their content to create a top ten market list. Lastly, we created a quick, fun video that showcases what you get when you sign-up for a free account.
Within the first 30 days of going live, the “Top 10 Markets” and “Why You Should Register for a Free Account” videos increased views on Facebook by 56% from the previous and highest organic benchmark in 2015.
