Directory of Grants
What Is a Grant?
A grant is a non-repayable fund or product given or disbursed by one party (usually a corporation, government department, trust, or foundation) to a recipient (usually a business, nonprofit entity, individual, or educational institution).
How Does It Work?
For receiving a grant, some form of “Grant Writing” usually referred to as either a proposal or an application is required. The process of grant writing involves an applicant submitting a proposal (aka submission) to a potential funder, either on the applicant’s own initiative or in response to a Request for Proposal from the funder.
